For almost 8 years I have been sewing on Etsy, and I have loved it! I’ve had the opportunity to work with many of you wonderful people. I thank you for making these years an incredible after-retirement experience. So many of you have shared wonderful pictures of your children with me at Vintage Baby Clothier. My Etsy site, Facebook page, and Instagram account, as well, are full of beautiful and delightful little children wearing my tiny clothes….and that makes my sewing so exciting. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!
This month, in return, I would like to share with you a picture of myself and my family. We are celebrating 40 years of marriage this year (…I’m not getting old, though!.. just a little slower...) ;) And thank you again for trusting me with dressing your little ones.

Baby clothes are like coffins. It never really changed since the 18th century! If you are going to observe how they dressed infants in history books, they are almost the same like today. I noticed this when I did a research before in history class. No one is really talking about clothes, I just noticed the pictures. What caught my attention aside from this are the designs of upright pianos. They look like coffins. That's how I thought the designs of our coffins never really changed.
