Summer is on its way and the days are getting hotter. In my toddler imagination, nothing sounds better than splashing around in water and strolling along in a vintage sunsuit!
I'd like to show you some of my very favorite sunsuit patterns ever. These patterns date from the 1940s and 1950s. (Just look at the prices-- Fifteen cents! Twenty cents!)

Of course, I love to play around with my old patterns and modify little things here and there to make the finished product more unique. The notions and fabrics that I work with today are much easier to care for than those my grandmother worked with; therefore, the items made nowadays are a lot easier to wear and enjoy.
Fortunately, any little girl lucky enough to stroll (or lie!) around in a sunsuit happens to look fabulous and darling no matter the day, time, or setting!
